Simplicity is the Answer

Simplicity is the most challenging thing in our modern lives. Especially for people living in cities and large conglomerates.

When I look back on my journey in personal development over the last 12 years, the biggest accomplishment I’ve made for myself is by simplifying my thoughts, choices, decisions, goals, environment, food, etc…the list is endless.

I was fortunate enough to be in environments and circumstances which accommodate this simplicity. It gave me the opportunity to undo my past and recondition myself.

Just like what happened back in Europe.

Going back to Europe and visiting London and Paris after 15 years made me appreciate its beauty and culture despite different choices and temptations. Somehow I felt discomfort in comfort, if that makes any sense.

My eyes never break unless I close them. My brain needs to constantly make choices and decisions. I’m consistently “doing” rather than “being” …still or moving….

I compassionately overcome the challenges of those who have consistent stimulations and instant excitements in their lives.

And then I realized…

It is difficult to listen to your voice and see your truth while you are surrounded by consistent external inputs. There is no space or time to be YOU unless you make a conscious effort to create them.

We are the victim of our own matrix…

The only way out is to close your eyes and initiate the evasion to your own reality.

How?

Let’s start with anything that makes you connected with yourself: walking, exercising, running, sport, bath, massage, meditation, yoga, dancing, singing, painting, etc.

Do you have any rituals that help you become the truest YOU?
